Print-making with Pre-schoolers (Part 1)

We’ve been  on a bit of a print-making adventure lately. It has slowly become our new favorite Art activity. Here are a few ideas if you would like to give it a go.

A word of caution, these are ‘Mess level’: Supersonic, so use appropriate measures to safeguard walls, clothes, furniture, etc. Do not be like this mama who rolled with it in the living room and now has huge pink paint stains in the middle of her white Sofa and carpet!

and when you lift it, you get this beauty!

We used White Envelopes for this particular method so that it is actually reusable. I love making art for the sake of the process, but the joy kids feel when you actually use their work for something meaningful is truly spectacular. We plan to use them post letters to our loved ones!

We used this gorgeous work of art for our Valentine Card back drops. Look how pretty!

Or, as some called it nature inspired paint-brushes. Call it what you may, this is the most fun we’ve had with vegetables, ever!
